A wonderful experience which is totally relaxing.
I received a gift token for here. I booked online which was easy and had a range of times available including the evening. I arrived and was warmly greeted and shown around and, as it was my first time there, had everything fully explained. The float time lasted one hour which sounded a long time until I was in the pod and relaxed into the water and then the time was wonderful and went too fast!! My main advice to new comers is to relax and not be afraid to let your head back and to definitely use the ear plugs! The main benefits to me were it was an hour of non-stimulation in total darkness and just literally floating and as I have a stressful job it was excellent. I will return and recommend to others.
From Streased to Zen’d out
I had no expectations going in but upon leaving I felt the effects within hours. My shallow breathing completely vanished and I was able to function and think clearly again. I had tried many tools myself that week to try and lower my stress levels but nothing worked for me as I was too far gone into fight or flight mode. Our float tank solution is sanitised for 30 minutes between floats with a powerful UV filtration system, a 1-10 micron bag filter to capture any contaminants or debris and we use food grade hydrogen peroxide as a disinfectant. All our tanks interiors and all touch points are sanitised after every float. Everything in our float rooms is replaced or cleaned and all our tanks are fully ventilated for a full 60 minutes between floats.
Specifically, floating provides significant reduction in pain, muscle tension, stress and anxiety. You are also likely to experience total serenity and peacefulness, an increased sense of well-being, and feeling completely refreshed like the reset button was hit.
The great thing is that the benefits happen with just one float. Floating consistency yields even greater results. Expect to go 2-3 times before you really notice the difference floating can make for you. It takes a few times for your body to adjust to this unique environment.
This is the reason we offer a great value month to month membership for only €54 per float. We highly recommend you float once a week for at least 4 weeks, if you can’t float once a week try floating twice a month and make your mind up after 3 floats if floatation therapy is benefitting your life like it has ours. This really is the perfect way to find out if floatation therapy is right for you.
Nope. Some people fall asleep, but the water is so buoyant you stay afloat. The 10 inches of water in the float tank is very dense thanks to over 500 kilograms of Epsom salt. It is extremely buoyant and will support your body completely. Turning over in the tank is very difficult, but if you should manage it, the salt in the water would sting your eyes and wake you immediately.
